Luka Doncic was born on February 28, 1999, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He grew up in a family of basketball players, with his father, Sasa Doncic, being a former professional player and his mother, Mirjam Poterbin, being a former basketball player and handball player. Luka started playing basketball at a young age and quickly showed immense talent and potential.
